Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has been found guilty of multiple charges following his role in an accident at Mykonos.
For aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and repeated attempts at bribery, Harry Maguire was found guilty at a trial in Greece.
The captain of Manchester United was tried alongside two other defendants on the Isle of Syros on Tuesday, following his role in an altercation involving police while on vacation in Mykonos.
Maguire disputed the charges but was convicted by a tri-member misdemeanors tribunal on all counts, he was in custody last Thursday and Friday night.
United has released a statement stating that Maguire will appeal the verdict.
In England’s squad to face Iceland and Denmark, the 27-year-old had earlier been selected to the League of Nations next month.
