In the transfer window, West Ham was linked with James Tarkowski and Fikayo Tomori, but have now borrowed Craig Dawson.
On a season-long loan, Craig Dawson has joined West Ham with an option to purchase from Championship side, Watford.
However, with the window still open for Premier League and EFL clubs to trade, joining center-back Dawson from Watford, the Hammers have managed to improve their defensive ranks.
Dawson brings plenty of experience to West Ham, if not a first-choice target, with the 30-year-old having made 29 top-flight appearances as Watford was relegated last season.
West Ham tweeted Craig Dawson’s statement on joining the club.
