The football news at the beginning of October was – a thigh ailment kept him out of Dortmund and Norway matches. Haaland May Miss Playing for the Rest of 2021 Due to Injury
According to the Bild, the Norwegian has suffered a hip flexor injury which means he cannot be back to training. He will miss training sessions with the Borussia Dortmund group for at least 6 weeks.
Thus, the 21-year-old is very likely unlikely to enter the pitch again this year, and indeed, may not play until 2022.
Haaland is likely going to miss both Bundesliga games against RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich. He may also, most the Champions League away clash against Sporting.
“I’m not a doctor. I don’t want to speculate. Erling is injured, it’s the same thigh but elsewhere,” Dortmund’s manager Marco Rose has told the press now.
Erling Haaland has scored 9 goals and provided 3 more in 6 Bundesliga appearances this season.
