Gündogan thinks Germans must play better in attack

Ilkay Gündogan, captain of the German national team has explained after the match of World Cup 2022 qualification against Northern Macedonia (1-2).

“I don’t know how to explain it. It is not easy. We knew not to underestimate the opponent and I don’t think we underestimated,” the player told UEFA official website. 

“We just weren’t good enough today. We have to play better in the attack.”
