Guardiola signs new contract with Manchester City

Pep Guardiola has accepted a new two-year deal with Manchester City, reports DailyMail.

His contract was set to expire at the end of the current campaign and there was growing speculation over his future.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager had just seven months left to run on his deal but has moved to end speculation over his future.

Guardiola’s contract extension now runs to the summer of 2023.

This international break was his last clean break until March to decide whether or not he should extend his deal.
