At the hands of Finland, France suffered its first loss since June 2019, but Antoine Griezmann felt it should have been a different story.
Antoine Griezmann said ahead of Saturday’s clash with Portugal, France must benefit from their 2-0 shock loss to Finland.
Since shooting a blank against Luxembourg in September 2017, France’s 24 attempts at goal were their most without scoring and Griezmann warned they would be more brutal.
He told M6: “We had two or three opportunities with Marcus. If he puts them in, it’s another game. We have to look at what we did wrong and look to Saturday.”
