Gomez’s long-term suspension, a big blow to Liverpool

Joe Gomez, defender of Liverpool sustained a conceivably serious injury during England training, reports Sky Sports.

Gomez is understood to be receiving treatment while determining the seriousness of the injuries although the FA is yet to comment on the incident that happened during the session on Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday evening, England boss Gareth Southgate is expected to tell the media.

Liverpool is expected to suffer a big blow for Gomez’s long-term suspension, which is predicted to be without fellow center-back Virgil van Dijk for the remainder of the season after last month he sustained a tough knee injury during a match against Everton.
