Gattuso proud of Napoli despite losing to Barcelona

At Camp Nou, Napoli lost to Barcelona, yet Gennaro Gattuso was proud of his side’s performance.

Napoli got eliminated from the Champions League with 3-1 loss and Gattuso claims his team paid for any error they made.

The Catalans were motivated by Lionel Messi and drove them into the quarter-finals.

“There’s nothing I can change,” Gattuso said after the final whistle (via Marca).

“I would do just the same stuff now if we were doing the game the way we wanted to. We have proven that we have great players and I appreciate the spirit of the squad. We made early mistakes and paid them dearly but I like the mentality.”
