Freddy Adu joined Swedish side Osterlen, his new home and the 15th different club in his career.
Once a teenage prodigy, Freddy Adu was tipped to become the next big thing in world football-now he has a new home with Osterlen in the Swedish third tier according to AS.
The former United States international took a two-year break aiming to make an impact at a modest level and is now back in the game.
Adu rose to prominence and scored his first professional goal in April of that year at the same age when he made his debut as a 14-year-old with DC United way back in 2004.
Adu had a trial with Premier League giants Manchester United, such was his potential, but despite that early success, he never climbed the dizzying heights he was once tipped to achieve.
