Head coach of Chelsea Frank Lampard spoke on his expectations of the game with Rennes in the Champions League.
“I am satisfied with [six wins in a row]. It is important to find a balance. We have pleasant feelings, but the attitude is even better. Six matches are great, but we can’t lose. Rennes is a good team. We have to stay in shape,” said Lampard to UEFA official website.
“We have studied and worked on the areas from where we missed goals. There were some mistakes somewhere, like with Southampton and West Brom. Somewhere there was bad luck. But the concentration of the team has improved, the staff is helping. The team is the most important thing.”
“We have a tough calendar. We are playing with Arsenal, and in a few days there will be another match. We need to win this game. And if we go out in the next round, we can give the players some rest. But we want to win the group. I’m confident about the team even when we rotate.”
