To coach La Liga giants Barcelona, Mauricio Pochettino said he had not received any offer, although the former Tottenham manager maintained that his dream would be to manage Real Madrid.
Until the embattled Spanish giant opted for Ronald Koeman after a 2019-20 trophyless campaign, Pochettino was linked with Barca after the sacking of Quique Setien.
Argentine boss Pochettino left Tottenham last November and was asked about the rumors about Barca.
“They gave me no offer to coach Barca,” he told Marca.
“I can’t see myself with Josep Maria Bartomeu. I’ve been dining with Ramon Planes as we’ve been friends for many years since he signed for Espanyol in 2009.”
“I don’t know if I’ll actually coach Madrid at all, but it’s my dream, of course. If it’s not the biggest, it’s one of the world’s best clubs. I’m no different. Everyone has that on their wishlist.”
