Former Arsenal player: I don’t think anyone in the world is doing it better than Özil

Fredrik Ljungberg, former Arsenal player spoke on the absence of midfielder Mesut Özil in the club’s application for the season.

“I’m not saying that he has to play every match. But when a team has the ball and it needs to make this last graceful pass, I don’t think there are many players who can do it better than Mesut,” said Ljungberg to Sky Sports.

“But they made that decision. I don’t know what the reasons are, but he’s not in this group of 25, so Arsenal can’t use him.”

“As for these things, I don’t think anyone in the world is doing it better than Özil.”
