In their stalemate with Bosnia-Herzegovina, Gianluigi Donnarumma admits that Italy was rusty.
Donnarumma also claims that ‘Edin Dzeko will punish’ at any opportunity.
The Azzurri had their first game in 10 months, a 1-1 draw to open the League of Nations with Bosnia-Herzegovina.
In the match, the Dzeko shot was canceled by Stefano Sensi.
“After such a long time, the first match is always going to be complicated,” the goalkeeper told RAI Sport.
“We tried to play the ball and maintain the initiative. We did well not to lose our heads after going a goal down, but you’ve got to be so careful with Dzeko, as he will punish you when you leave the tiniest gap.”
“Now we’ll try to make up for it in the next important match against the Netherlands.”
