Fiorentina has officially declared that Borja Valero is back from Inter.
After three years in San Siro, Viola brought back the ‘Mayor of Florence,’ which had been his nickname for the first time in the Artemio Franchi.
“Fiorentina announces that the player Borja Valero Iglesias has been registered,” the club wrote in a statement.
“After three seasons at Inter, the Spanish player returns to Florence, making 100 performances, scoring five goals.”
Fiorentina welcomed Borja Valero and wrote on Twitter: “You look amazing in purple.”
The veteran will wear the No6 in his second season with the club. He has also spent five seasons in Toscana between 2012 and 2017.
