Emerson Palmieri might leave for Inter

Emerson Palmieri representative has asserted that Inter is interested in signing him this summer, but claims that has yet to address the matter with Chelsea.

The 26-year-old made a move to Blues from Roma for an opening £17.5 m fee and a further £8 m expected in add-ons in January 2018. However, he was unable to obtain a permanent place in the start XI.

Fernando Garcia, who is Emerson’s manager, has confirmed that a step away from the Premier League might be on the cards for the Italy international.

“He might be leaving Chelsea,” he told FCInter08. 

“I haven’t talked to the club yet. What I can tell is that Inter has an interest in the player. We’ll see.”
