Edinson Cavani refused an opportunity to join Juventus

Uruguayan center-forward Edinson Cavani received a Juventus offer but he has reportedly rejected it due to his love of Napoli.

El Matador has denied a chance this summer to join the Bianconeri, as his agreement with Paris Saint-Germain expired after the campaign, claims Sky Sport Italia.

The former Napoli player has been linked to a number of European clubs in recent months.

During his tenure at the San Paolo, he scored 104 goals in 138 matches.

The 33-year-old was seeing for a move to Benfica, but the transfer has reportedly dropped because of the payment requests of the Uruguay international.

Still searching for a new club, Cavani has been closely linked to a move to Atletico Madrid.
