Dominic Matteo is out of danger from a Brain tumor

The former player of Liverpool announced his brain tumor recovery through a microblogging site. He tweeted “I received the phone call yesterday, the one I hoped for … my brain scan is clear. After 6 months of anxiety, suffering, recovery, surgery, and care. I’m safe! It feels incredible!”

After surgery to remove the growth in November and had completed recovery for six months.  Leeds Dominic Matteo has confirmed he has thoroughly healed from a brain tumor.

The 45-year-old thanked the workers at Leeds General Infirmary and St James’ Hospital on Twitter, this Sunday. Matteo who represented Scotland six times, played for Blackburn and Stoke before retired in 2007.
