Diego moved from Inter to Cagliari 

Diego Godin has joined Cagliari on a three-year deal after completing a free transfer from Inter.

Godin has dedicated his future to the club till 2023, announced officially on Thursday night at Sardegna Arena.

The 34-year-old made 36 starts for Antonio Conte’s side in all competitions, scoring twice and after only one full season he leaves Inter.

The announcement reads: “Cagliari Calcio is delighted to announce Diego Godin’s signing: the great Uruguayan defender joins Cagliari on a permanent deal until 30 June 2023.”
