Diego Maradona recalled 1/4 finals match of WC-1986 against England

The match of the 1/4 finals of WC-1986 against England has been recalled by former Argentina striker Diego Maradona.

“I dream of scoring England again, only with my right hand,” said Maradona to France Football. 

Ahead of the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the game, the Argentinean scored against England with his left hand. The referee counted this ball, deciding that it was scored by his head. 

The Argentine national team won that world championship. Maradona was recognized as the best player in the tournament.
