Diego Forlan says that Edinson Cavani is still a ‘great player’ and after joining the Premier League club he can emulate former Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
When Cavan departed from PSG at the end of the season, the Red Devils signed the Uruguayan legend.
For the French champions, Cavani scored 200 goals in 301 appearances but some questioned how much of the impact he would have on Manchester United when he was 33. Former United Strike Forlan is adamant that Cavani will develop into a valuable member of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad, however, and says he can emulate Ibrahimovic.
