Manchester City is preparing to fight Liverpool for the Premier League title this season after conceding the trophy to Jurgen Klopp’s side last campaign, said Kevin De Bruyne.
“I think we’ve been doing very well,” De Bruyne told Man City’s official website.
“It was still going to be difficult with just two weeks of training.”
“But we kept it tight, and I guess we’ve done really well, and we know that you’ve got to start well.”
“For us, Wolves were a bogey squad, so coming here and having this success is good. We had several players missing. We will go game by game, we’re going to go; Thursday is another one.”
“If the pace for the title is the same as in the last few years, it will be tough. We want to fight with Liverpool. That’s what sport is all about.”
