Davies is eager to stay at Bayern saying there is “even more to come”

In the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich, Alphonso Davies a highly productive first full season, after a prolific game the Canadian International stated he intends to “live in Germany as long as possible,” saying there will be “even more to come.”

In the club’s championship win the 19-year-old played a central role and won the 2019/20 Bundesliga’s Rookie of the Year award.

He scored three goals and five assists in 29 league appearances.

The Bundesliga winger is now in pride of position in what is going to become a steadily laden trophy cabinet, despite two Bundesliga championships and two DFB Cup triumphs.

Davies is truly keen to remain at Bayern for years to come.

“I would like to have the longest possible stay in Germany,” he said to Bundesliga.com

“When I’m about to leave — many, many years from now — I can certainly have my emblem for coaching. What decides then where I ’m going to wind up? Maybe anywhere in Europe, or even back in Canada.”

“Since I was a kid I have had a lot of big dreams and Bayern helps me to achieve those dreams. But believe me, more is still yet to come. I’m only beginning.”
