Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo was expected to make a move last winter to Paris Saint-Germain but the talks were interrupted allegedly due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as stated by France Football.
France Football has written that the entourage of Ronaldo ‘considered it very likely’ that the 35-year-old would leave Juventus and move to Paris.
The pandemic has blocked the proposed negotiations and Portuguese talisman ended up in Turin and is expected to remain at Juventus in 2020-21, according to reports.
The news comes just days before the return leg of the Old Lady against Olympique Lyonnais in the last 16 of the Champions League, where Juventus will have to turn around a 1-0 loss at Groupama Stadium in Lyon.
