COVID-19 patient Toni Rudiger favours his home country

Coronavirus has left none safe, it has spread vigorously and has made its mark across the world. The Chelsea defender Toni Rudiger has been contaminated by the deadly coronavirus.

The 27-year-old corona patient makes a liberal attempt to help his home country. Goal.com reports – Rudiger has promised to pay three months of catering charges for the nurses at the Berlin Charite hospital where he was born.

Rudiger was one of those stars who openly supported the #PlayersTogether campaign initiated by the captains of the Premier League.

The authorities in Germany are now starting to ease off the lockdown as the number of cases is not increasing as high in other nations.

For the next four months, Chelsea players will also assist their own team by welcoming 10 percent pay cuts.

The sides are close to finding an agreement, Boss Frank Lampard and Director Marina Granovskaia are both told to accept pay cuts during that time.
