Claudio Marchisio comments on Cristiano Ronaldo’s free-kicks

Former Juventus star, Claudio Marchisio, trolled Cristiano Ronaldo for his shocking Bianconeri jersey free-kick record.

“Apart from free-kicks, in the final 25 meters, Cristiano Ronaldo is still SCARY!!! ”, tweeted the 35-year-old.

Marchisio sent out this tweet while watching Monday’s 3-0 victory over Crotone, in which CR7 bagged a first-half brace.

The Ballon d’Or winner has evidently lost his touch on set plays since transferring to Juventus.

In July 2020 during the Derby della Mole against Torino, he scored only one direct free kick on the club, which came at his 43rd attempt.

Given that his coach is a professional like Andrea Pirlo now, it seems odd that Ronaldo fires into the wall so regularly.
