Ciro Immobile is proud to win over Lewandowski with two goals

As a conclusion of the 2019/20 season, Ciro Immobile received the Golden Boot, and the Lazio striker spoke about the same.

“I am very proud that I won against Lewandowski by a margin of two goals. He has always been my idol. When it comes to the best center forward in the world, the names of Lewandowski, Suarez, and Benzema always arise.”

“If they call me in line with them, and I score as much as they do – this is an incredible feeling. If I could vote for the winner of the Golden Ball, I would vote for Lewandowski,” said Immobile.

The result of the Bayern striker is 34 goals. 

The Italian won the Golden Boot, scoring 36 goals in Serie A. In the Bundesliga teams play 34 matches, in Serie A – 38.
