Former England international Chris Smalling recovered from food poisoning and returns to fitness.
On the other hand, Roma striker Edin Dzeko has tested negative for coronavirus and will re-join the team.
Good news for coach Paulo Fonseca, who today has Smalling back in training.
Dzeko has reported that COVID-19 is negative in addition to the news about the center-back.
“Negative, at last! I can’t wait to get my teammates back into training to help them play so well,” he wrote on Twitter.
Dzeko was checked on a regular basis ahead of the 3-0 victory over Parma but did not return in time for the Olimpico clash on Sunday.
Before the Bosnian international can return to training he must pass a fitness test.
