Chilwell wants to repeat Cole’s impact at Chelsea

Ben Chilwell made a transfer from the Leicester club and dreams to replicate Ashley Cole’s impact at Chelsea.

Chilwell grew up seeing Cole perform at Chelsea and resembles himself to the former England hero.

“It’s fantastic for me, I have the example on what a successful Chelsea left-back is,” he told the club’s website when asked about following in the footsteps of Cole.

“I grew up watching Ashley Cole play and I know how much he loved being here and again it was a huge factor I decided to move here. I feel like I’m still young and want the career he had at Chelsea for myself as well.”
