In any deal for midfielder Declan Rice from West Ham United, Chelsea is reportedly keen to include midfielder Ross Barkley.
To a potential move to Stamford Bridge, England International has been linked strongly but it is said that the Hammers are demanding £ 80 m in the area.
In the current transfer window and the continuing financial repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic, Chelsea has already invested a great deal, hence the Blues are unwilling to fulfill these demands.
But according to Football Insider, the Blues are hoping, to persuade West Ham to sign Barkley as part of any deal.
They could be able to spend another £40 m to win Rice’s signature with Chelsea valuing Barkley at about £ 30 m.
