Jorginho was linked to Juventus but the Italians were willing to offer Miralem Pjanic, claims midfielder agent Joao Santos.
According to Italy international agent Joao Santos, as part of a swap deal for Jorginho, Chelsea rejected the opportunity to sign Miralem Pjanic from Juventus.
When Maurizio Sarri was in charge Jorginho had been strongly linked to a return to Serie A with champions Juventus.
Last month Juve signed Andrea Pirlo replacing Sarri and also signed Arthur from Barcelona while Pjanic headed in the opposite direction.
Things might have turned out differently had Sarri remained in place at the Allianz Stadium, claims representative of Jorginho, Santos.
“Juventus had offered a swap deal including Miralem Pjanic, but the English side didn’t take it into consideration,” he told Tuttomercatoweb.
“[Juve sporting director Fabio] Paratici never called me. Would he have moved to Juventus with Sarri? I think so.”
