Chelsea joins the race for Sergio Reguilon

Chelsea wants to sign Sergio Reguilon, Real Madrid left-back, and is clearly willing to go head-to-head with Everton.

During the 2019-20 La Liga campaign while on loan at Seville, the 23-year-old received high praise for his success, where he posted two goals and four assists from 31 top-flight outings.

For the Spaniard, who is said to be highly regarded by the Bernabeu authorities, Everton has reportedly submitted an opening offer of £18 m. 

Real, looking to balance the books following the outbreak of COVID-19, may encourage Reguilon to leave.

According to Sky Sports News, Chelsea’s search for a new left-back has been well reported in recent weeks and Reguilon is squarely on Frank Lampard’s radar.
