Real Madrid strolled to a resounding Champions League victory over Shakhtar Donetsk, thanks to a fantastic solo goal from Vinicius Junior.

Luka Modric’s exquisite slide rule ball sliced open the Shakhtar defense, allowing Vinicius Jr to finish cleverly past a hapless goalie before the young Brazilian completed his hat trick with a thunderous finish following a mazy solo run. Real made it 4-0 shortly after the hour mark following Vinicius’ cutback was slammed in by fellow Brazilian teenager Rodrygo.

Benzema gave everything he had to make it five for Los Blancos, and he was finally rewarded for an outstanding display in stoppage time. The Frenchman scored after bringing down Marco Asensio’s lofted ball in the box and clinically slotting in from close range.
