Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos allegedly notified about his eagerness to return to the former Real Betis club, to the champions of La Liga.
The midfielder made 37 appearances across all the competitions during his loan campaign 2019-20 at Arsenal and has struggled under Zinedine Zidane for game time at the Bernabeu.
The Spaniard could return to the Emirates for the 2020-21 campaign, indicated Gunners manager Mikel Arteta, but according to Mundo Deportivo, Ceballos has his heart set on a return to Betis.
With Los Verdiblancos the 24-year-old started his career and scored 7 goals in 105 appearances before signing in 2017 for Real Madrid.
Although Ceballos could remain for the new campaign with his parent club, the Spaniard is supposedly looking to play ahead of the rescheduled European Championships as much as possible, which could make a return to Betis all the more likely.
An interest in Ceballos, which has a deal with Los Blancos until 2023, was also attributed to Valencia.
