Carlo Ancelotti says Manchester City will not be prevented from winning the trophy and it is the best team Everton has faced this season.
Premier League leaders powered to a 3-1 victory at Goodison Park after the runaway, Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti congratulated Manchester City and proclaimed them the champions-elect.
City has won their last 12 league matches, 17 in all competitions, and Ancelotti can’t see any team preventing the high-flying side of Pep Guardiola from winning a fifth trophy in the Premier League and a seventh domestic crown in England.
“I think so. It’s really difficult to say another name,” Ancelotti said according to the Daily Mail.
“Man City, at this moment, are in a good mood. They have fantastic quality, they have belief, they are strong.”
“We tried to put the game on the strong side but it was difficult against Rodrigo, against [Ruben] Dias, against [Aymeric] Laporte.”
