Brighton secured their Premier League place with a draw to Newcastle 

Following a boring 0-0 draw at home to Newcastle United, Brighton won their place in the Premier League next season.

At the pace of a friendly pre-season, most of the game was played after a decent opening and will not be a contender for classics in the Premier League.
