Bournemouth fired boss Jason Tindall after a four-match losing streak, leaving a dent in their dreams of making an immediate return to the Premier League.
The last straw for Jason Tindall at Bournemouth was a 2-1 loss to Sheffield Wednesday, making it four defeats on the bounce.
Leaving them eight points clear of the top two in the Championship, the Cherries suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to relegation-threatened Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday.
In a statement confirming the 43-year-old’s dismissal, Bournemouth said: “It is a decision which has not been taken lightly, given Jason’s outstanding commitment to the club as a player, assistant manager and manager.”
“However, recent performances and results have fallen well below the board’s expectations.”
