Borussia Dortmund Have Confirmed Liverpool Are Keen on Bellingham

Because Liverpool are eyeing him, Borussia Dortmund youngster Jude Bellingham could resume his career in England. The football news of a move seems likelier because Borussia Dortmund have confirmed Liverpool are keen on Bellingham as well.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly been considering signing 18-year-old midfielder Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.

On the other hand, the Englishman’s current contract with Dortmund expires in the summer of 2025.

But the German side are not willing to part ways with the player, claims Goal.com, who’re themselves citing the Bild.

Dortmund are unwilling to sell their youth star for anything less than a generous offer of around 120 million euros.

After all, Bellingham has impressively scored 3 goals and provided 6 assists in 14 appearances for the club this campaign.

The 18-year-old has quickly established himself as one of the world’s most talked-about young players. He has enjoyed an outstanding start to the new season, having also represented England’s the Three Lions at Euro 2020.

And his meteoric rise has piqued the interest of Europe’s upper crust, notably, among several other clubs, the Reds.

But Dortmund boss Kehl stated that there are ‘no signs’ that he will leave the Bundesliga side anytime soon.

“He is a Borussia Dortmund player and remains a Borussia Dortmund player,” Kehl told Sport1.

“There’s a lot of interest around Jude Bellingham, not only Liverpool,” he said, counterintuitively confirming Liverpool’s interest in signing Bellingham.

However, Kehl went on: “But there is no bottom line and no exit clause. He is loved, he enjoys that.

“There are no signs he could leave Dortmund soon.”
