Boateng on leaving Bayern: I don’t like to sit in the same place for long

Jerome Boateng, defender of Bayern Munich said he could leave the club.

“As you have rightly noticed, I like to get to know new cities, cultures, and people. I don’t like to sit in the same place for long. Accordingly, I am interested in Paris, London as well as cities outside of Europe,” the player told Goal.

He also answered about the fact that Bayern does not want to renew the contract with him.

“I was surprised by the recent news. I would like to discuss this with the club first. But now I don’t care about it anymore.”

“I always said that I wanted to experience something new and take on a new challenge. I feel very well, I’m in great shape and I’ve been helping the team in recent months. Both Hansi Flick and my teammates are talking about it. This is the most important thing for me.”

“I am fully focused on defending the five titles that the club and I won last season. When the day comes to break up, I will look back proudly on the years we have spent here, on the many successes that the club and I have achieved.”

“Not many football players have had this experience. At the same time, I look forward with full motivation and look forward to what will happen.”
