Jerome Boateng is open to extending his stay at Bayern Munich and wants to experience “another culture” in the future thus he will not rule out a future move to MLS.
“I can imagine [signing an extension]. Here my kids feel at home. It’s a lot of fun with Hansi Flick as a coach and this team. In the end, I’m happy to be with FC Bayern again. I’m enjoying football again,” he told Kicker when asked about his future, which means Boateng is still very open to penning new terms at the Allianz.
Pushed on what will be the key factor when deciding his next destination, Boateng said: “Another culture. I like to learn something new and I don’t always have to be in the same place. USA, Asia, or even another European country, we will see.”
