Manchester City suffered a 3-1 shock defeat in the quarter-finals of the Champions League against Lyon on Saturday and Silva was an unused substitute in the 2019-20 season for the club.
Silva initially discussed the disappointing existence of the campaign in 2019-20, apologizing to City fans, in an earlier social post.
