Benfica to offer Diego Costa €3m-a-year salary for two years contract

Benfica is showing interest in Diego Costa. The Lisbon club wants to strengthen their attack and is willing to offer the Spanish-Brazilian forward a two-year contract with a €3m-a-year salary.

Goal writes that former Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa could continue his career in the Portuguese league.

Furthermore, Benfica is ready to pay him around €3m as a signing bonus, which appeals to the former Atletico player, given the club’s rich history and trophy targeting.

On a mutual agreement, the 32-year-old Costa terminated his contract with Atletico in December to find a new team.
