Milan and Napoli are reportedly in talks with defender Ben Godfrey of Norwich City, Italy sources claim.
This season the 22-year-old made 30 appearances in the Premier League and was unable to keep Norwich from relegation to the Championship.
According to Calciomercato.it, including Milan and Napoli many Italian clubs showed interest in Godfrey.
Godfrey’s agent has been advised to meet Milan representatives at a Milan hotel earlier this week.
Napoli is expected to will take an interest in Godfrey if they face Gabriel of Lille’s first-choice competition.
Next week more talks are expected.
The report claims that until June 2023 Godfrey’s contract remains with Norwich but the clubs want to sell him for €30 m.
Earlier this summer, Roma was linked with a potential swoop for the England Under-21 international.
