Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick hinted, after Erling Haaland scored twice in Saturday’s Der Klassiker, at the possibility of luring the Norwegian sensation away from Borussia Dortmund.
Since joining Dortmund in January, Haaland has been invincible, and when he helped his team take charge of the derby he added another notch to his belt. in the first ten minutes, he scored twice bringing his season total to 29 goals in just 28 games.
It was only normal that one reporter would pose the question after a game in which the two strikers were the stars. And Flick was delighted to toy with the idea.
“Very, very much is possible in life, nothing can be ruled out,” he told Sky in Germany.
“But that is a long way off. He has a long-term contract in Dortmund and is an option for many top clubs.”
