Bastoni reassured fans that he is okay from coronavirus

Alessandro Bastoni, Inter defender has informed fans that he is ‘okay and isolated’ and aims to return as soon as possible.

Earlier this week the center-back tested positive for coronavirus and now returns today from the Italy Under-21 camp.

Inter have established that the defender is asymptomatic and must determine whether to remain in solitary confinement at Appiano or at home.

On social media, Bastoni sent a message reassuring fans that he is okay, thanking them for their support.

“Good morning everyone,” he wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for the many messages I have received.”

“I’m fine and I’m in isolation. See you soon at San Siro, a big hug.”
