Barcelona presidential candidate Toni Freixa looking forward to sign Mbappe and Haaland

Toni Freixa, Barcelona presidential candidate has estimated the odds of contracting strikers Kylian Mbappe (PSG) and Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund) to the Catalan club.

“For the 2021/22 season, we plan to invest in the transfers of two attacking players capable of producing results, as well as a top-class defender. My message is that Barcelona should have a competitive squad that the fans want to see,” Freixa said to RAC1.

“Mbappe and Haaland? I can’t talk about the players until they are signed because it’s not the best strategy and other clubs can break up negotiations.”

“But it is absolutely realistic. Barca has to bring in players who can make a difference.”
