Barcelona out of Alaba race

Barcelona will not attempt to sign Bayern Munich defender David Alaba, reports Marca.

According to the source, the Catalans cannot offer the Austrian the same terms as Real Madrid although they have been also fighting for the player.

After negotiations with Barca’s management, it is perceived that Pini Zahavi, Alaba’s agent, has decided not to negotiate further due to the financial offer from the Blues. 

It is suspected that Real Madrid will win the fight for the player and sign the defender as a free agent in the summer.
