Barcelona considered signing Aubameyang a few weeks ago

Barcelona thought the opportunity of hiring Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. 

Before the appointment of Ronald Koeman to the post of head coach of the Blaugrana, the Catalans contacted the agents of the 31-year-old player a few weeks ago, reports journalist Fabrizio Romano. 

Aubameyang has already agreed on a new contract with Arsenal and Koeman wants to sign Lyon striker Memphis Depay.
