Liverpool player Virgil van Dijk suffered a knee ligament injury in a match with Everton and Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte sent his support.
“Sorry, bro. I wish you good luck and a fast recovery. No joy, nothing pleasant, even though we are rivals,” the Frenchman tweeted.
Van Dijk is expected to miss games as he will have surgery.
The club did not report the timing of the restoration.
