Atalanta recorded three positive cases of COVID-19

Three coronavirus cases in their first-team group of Atalanta has been confirmed after resuming training yesterday.

The club carried out the medical tests needed before resuming training and reported three positive tests according to Football Italia.

Since a quarter-final loss in the Champions League to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month, for the first time La Dea returned to the sports center.

“Atalanta announces that in the anti-COVID tests carried out this week, in anticipation of the first team’s resumption of activities, three cases of positivity were found,” the statement read.

“The players in question are asymptomatic, already in isolation and under the ATS’ control.”
