Mikel Arteta’s team was forced to finish the game with nine men and Arsenal suffered an away defeat to Wolverhampton in round 22 of the English Premier League with a 1-2 score.
Towards the end of the first half and on 72 minutes of the game, it was center-back David Luiz who picked up his first penalty. Referee Craig Pawson gave a red card to Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
According to The Athletic, during a match against Wolverhampton, the Canaries intend to appeal on David Luiz’s red card.
